The men who worked on our Bathroom were amazing! Every single detail was amazing! We can not express enough how much we love our new bathroom and widened doors.

Very Knowledgeable salesmen, great product; fast installation.

Our new bathroom looks and feels great. We were very happy with the competitive price quoted to us. The two negatives were the frequent revisions to our original plan because the sales person didn't know that some of the options we picked couldn't be combined and communication about when the contractors would be arriving could also have been better. Overall, the workers were very professional, kept to the promised schedule, and we feel good about the quality of the renovation.

I paid about $5K more for this roof than I probably should have. I hope the extra money is worth the "lifetime" warranty. This survey request is premature as I have not received the warranty paperwork which is a critical piece of what I paid for. The workers (sub contractors) were professional. Because of the false advertising by the Sales Rep and the rudeness of the Project Manager, I will not use AAPCO again.

They are higher priced than most and the salesman (Willie Barnes) was not truthful about the workers being AAPCO employees. The roofers (subcontractors) were on time, worked hard and were polite. Problems started when AAPCO delayed the start date by 1 week. Jeff Wagner (Project Manager?) was difficult to work with - when discussing a new start date for the week of Thanksgiving I wanted some assurance that the work could be done in 3 days (weather permitting) but he just wouldn't commit. The job was completed on time but I felt like a hostage to being at the property without knowing for sure if the workers would be there. I received a call from Mr. Wagner after the work was completed - he wanted payment. When I told him I wasn't at the property and I asked for an invoice, he was rude and belligerent and I ended up hanging up on him. I spoke to Mike Brexler (VP) about the issues I encountered with Mr. Barnes and Mr. Wagner. He has been responsive. However, I will not use this company again.

General Comments AAPCO first appear to be a highly professional and responsible organization that has been around for a long time doing quality work. The sales personnel are knowledgeable and friendly and explained the projects fairly well. The onsite management of the projects was less than expected. The roofing crew came and went without communicating with us at all. The porch crew showed up and started multiple times without even knocking on the door to let us know they were there. All of the projects would have been better received if better coordination and communication were occurring during the projects. We had four projects completed by AAPCO that I am providing feedback on: 1) Roofing Project – Overall the roofing job went well. The salesman did a great job explaining the materials and process. The installation team ultimately did as they were directed. However the contract stated to replace all the sheathing on our garage and this was not done. We discussed this with the project lead and we were able to come to an agreement that with the warranty any issues could be addressed if one occurred during the warranty period. The job site still had a lot of roofing nails left on the ground (>100) after completion of the work. Would have liked a recommendation for the sag in the garage roof prior to installing new shingles. I will now have to correct this issue which I would have gladly paid AAPCO to do. 2) Guttering Project – The installation team did an excellent job explaining the project and completing all aspects of the job professionally from start to finish and we are very satisfied with the results. 3) Bay Window Replacement Project – Through discussions with the sales person we determined that replacement of the bay window would consist of removal and replacement of the existing 3 windows and determine what rot or damage was hidden once the windows were removed. First the work crew showed up on a Sunday without prior coordination. Fortunately we were home and could allow access to do the work. When the windows were removed and prior to installation I noticed some rot at the bottom of the windows that I had to point out to the installer. I believe this would have been covered up with the new window had I not pointed it out. Ultimately the windows look good with the exception of the metal wrap on the exterior which was dinged up with a ladder when installed. This still has not been corrected. 4) Porch Replacement Project – The sales person was very convincing and knowledgeable. There was agreement to remove as much of the existing cinderblock porch as possible and then build the new porch over the existing porch. There is significant disagreement as to the amount of the old porch could have been removed. If it were filled with concrete I could understand leaving it. As it is it is only a row of blocks around the perimeter. These could have been removed easily with an air hammer or even a sledge hammer. Originally the installer fitted the ledger board over the existing vinyl siding and smashed and cracked it. Once this was pointed out they returned and when they attempted to fix the issue by installing “J” channel the split the siding and luckily I had a replacement piece which they installed. The new porch looks as expected. However the job site was not left very clean for a professional company. Material debris was left and is still being cleaned up. We were going to have AAPCO complete a deck project, but after seeing the quality and general lack of onsite oversight with the existing projects we will be looking elsewhere.
